This hefty vintage signet ring is set with a large oval heliotrope, also known as bloodstone. The stone has a deep blue-green color, interspersed with characteristic rust-red speckles. The smooth surface is not engraved.
The heliotrope is set in a closed silver bezel. On either side, the shoulders flare out into a striking, raised fan motif that gives the ring its distinctive post-war design. The yellow gold band provides a beautiful contrast with the silver top and is marked 9 CT for 9 carat gold on the inside.
The ring presumably dates from circa 1960–1975. No maker's or date stamp has been found.
This piece was clearly worn and enjoyed. Both the silver and the gold show scratches and signs of wear. The heliotrope also has superficial scratches and some small chips along the edge. Despite this, the ring is in good, wearable vintage condition, but not in mint condition.

After delivery, the ring will not be resized in the workshop. If necessary, you can have it resized locally at a jeweler of your choice.

Most gold rings can be resized. Each ring is inspected before being made.
If a size change is not technically justified, I will contact you in advance.
