What a stunner of a ring!! This is a vintage French ring in 18 carat yellow gold!
It is made in the Art Deco style, but somewhat younger, probably from the 1980s.
In the middle a beautiful oval ruby , which is surrounded by an entourage of diamonds . If that is enough, there is also a third and outer edge.
The outer rim consists of square rubies that are perfectly aligned with the geometric shapes typical of the Art Deco period .
The ring bears the hallmark of an eagle's head , which is the French hallmark for 18 carat.
The size of the ring is 16.3mm / 51.
