Very beautiful pendant made with the filigree technique in a free form with an oval deep orange glass in the middle.
The glass has suffered some superficial damage over time.
This pendant was made in the 1940s by A. Heikoop in Schoonhoven. Heikoop was active in the period 1943-1994.

Filigree is a method of making decorations or even a complete workpiece that consists of very fine thin silver wires. These fine wires are put into a shape or twisted and soldered to make a complete jewel.

This pendant measures 5.2cm long and 2.9cm wide.
The pendant is hallmarked with the hallmark of A. Heikoop and the old Dutch sword without content. This hallmark stands for silver and was used until 1953 .

This pendant comes with a silver chain and is carefully packaged and delivered in a jewelry box .

Will you take care of the next chapter?

At Feniks, all jewelry has been part of the life of at least 1 other person.
The piece of jewelry was worn , cherished and every trace has its own story .

A story that will not reveal the jewel.

For this special reason I do not completely erase the traces of the past . The jewelry has been checked and polished but some still bear the marks of the previous owner.

The stories of the past remain a mystery. Will you create the next chapter?
