Een prachtige voorbeeld van vintage modernistische ontwerpen en niet van de minste designers ook!
Deze hanger is van de wereldberoemde Finse ontwerper Elis Kauppi die het label Kupittaan Kulta opstartte.
Deze hanger hanger bestaat uit bijna een volledige cirkel gemaakt uit een dun plaatje met in het midden een puntige Amethist. De Amethist is cabochon geslepen en zit in een gesloten zetkast met een open achterkant.
Doordat het goud een dunne plaat is, lijkt de Amethist zo wel wat te zweven.
De hanger is gemaakt in de jaren 1970 voor het Finse bedrijf Kupittaan Kulta.
