This wide Reflex bracelet was designed by Swedish designer Theresia Hvorslev for silver manufacturer Alton.
The bracelet consists of six large, open links. Each link is made up of two folded oval shapes that lie at different heights on top of each other. The double construction gives the bracelet a striking amount of volume. Smaller oval links connect the different elements and ensure that the bracelet falls smoothly around the wrist.
The rounded, polished surfaces catch the light with every movement. From above, the design looks sleek and graphic, while the side really shows how sculptural the double links actually are. Very seventies, but the good kind.
The bracelet closes with a simple hook clasp and also features a figure-eight safety catch. With a length of approximately 20 cm, this is a fairly roomy bracelet, which can be worn nicely loose around the wrist.
The back is signed "Theresia" and marked "Alton." In addition, the city mark of Falköping, the Swedish national control mark with three crowns, the date code X9 for 1972, and Sterling 935 are present. The silver content of 935 is slightly higher than the usual sterling silver of 925.

Condition: very good vintage condition. The bracelet has been worn and shows superficial scratches and signs of wear consistent with its age. The construction and clasp are sturdy and well preserved.
