Zoltan Popovits ontwierp voor Lapponia een uitgesproken, sculpturaal model waarin zilver en donker ebbenhout een krachtig grafisch contrast vormen. Ze kregen de naam "Zanzibar".
De oorstekers hebben de vorm van twee gespiegelde, opengevouwen waaiers. De afwisseling tussen matte, organisch gevormde zilverpartijen en langwerpige openingen geeft het ontwerp zowel volume als beweging. Een diagonale strook ebbenhout doorsnijdt het zilver en benadrukt de bijzondere constructie.
Ook gedragen blijven de oorstekers verrassend architecturaal. Eén zijde volgt de lijn van het gezicht, terwijl de brede waaier zich langs en rond de oorlel uitstrekt. Daardoor lijken de oorstekers bijna een verlenging van het oor.
Een karakteristiek voorbeeld van Fins modernistisch design uit de late jaren tachtig.

Order the ring without resizing. This way, you can try it on without worry, and returns are still possible according to the terms and conditions.
Can I have the ring adjusted after delivery?
To avoid back and forth shipments, size changes are made before shipment.
After delivery, the ring will not be resized in the workshop. If necessary, you can have it resized locally at a jeweler of your choice.
Can every ring be resized?
Most gold rings can be resized. Each ring is inspected before being made.
If a size change is not technically justified, I will contact you in advance.
How long is the delivery time with a change?
Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for processing.
