This silver pendant was designed in the 1960s by Björn Sigurd Østern and made by David Andersen in Norway.

The design is large and bold, without any ornamentation or detail that's "extra." The shape stands alone. Everything you see has a function within the whole. That's what makes this pendant so powerful: it doesn't need anything extra to work.

The proportions are deliberately generous. This isn't a delicate piece of jewelry, but rather an object that takes up space on the body. Typical of the sixties, when scale and form were more important than subtlety.

The pendant is crafted from sterling silver and bears several distinctive David Andersen hallmarks. It was later re-hallmarked in the Netherlands. The flat anchor link chain, crafted from second-grade silver, is sturdy enough to support the pendant's weight and scale without overpowering the design.

FAQ Re-Sizing Service

How do I know my ring size?

View the explanation about ring sizes here .

What if I am unsure about my size or the ring?

Are you unsure about the right size or would you like to view the ring in real life first?
Order the ring without resizing. This way, you can try it on without worry, and returns are still possible according to the terms and conditions.

Can I have the ring adjusted after delivery?

To avoid back and forth shipments, size changes are made before shipment.
After delivery, the ring will not be resized in the workshop. If necessary, you can have it resized locally at a jeweler of your choice.

Can every ring be resized?

Most gold rings can be resized. Each ring is inspected before being made.
If a size change is not technically justified, I will contact you in advance.

How long is the delivery time with a change?

Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for processing.

Will you take care of the next chapter?

At Feniks, all jewelry has been part of the life of at least 1 other person.
The piece of jewelry was worn , cherished and every trace has its own story .

A story that will not reveal the jewel.

For this special reason I do not completely erase the traces of the past . The jewelry has been checked and polished but some still bear the marks of the previous owner.

The stories of the past remain a mystery. Will you create the next chapter?
