De Chaîne d’Ancre is een van de meest herkenbare ontwerpen van Hermès. Robert Dumas vond zijn inspiratie bij de zware ankerkettingen langs de Normandische kust. In 1938 verscheen de eerste zilveren Chaîne d’Ancre-armband.
Deze vintage Chaîne d’Ancre PM-armband is uitgevoerd in sterling zilver. PM staat voor Petit Modèle: een fijner formaat dan de MM- en GM-uitvoeringen, maar met dezelfde kenmerkende langwerpige marineschakels en dwarsverbinding.
De armband bestaat uit 18 schakels, die elk circa 14 × 8,7 mm meten. De totale lengte bedraagt ongeveer 19,5 cm. De bekende staafsluiting wordt door de ronde sluitring gehaald en vormt een zichtbaar onderdeel van het ontwerp.
De armband is gesigneerd met HERMÈS en gemerkt met AG 925 en A★D.
De armband verkeert in een zeer goede gedragen staat. Op het gepolijste zilver zijn fijne krasjes en lichte gebruikssporen zichtbaar. De staafsluiting werkt correct.
Op de foto waarop twee armbanden samen worden gedragen, is deze PM de smallere armband. De grotere GM-armband dient uitsluitend als maatvergelijking en is niet inbegrepen.

Let op: door de staafsluiting is de geschikte polsomtrek kleiner dan de totale lengte van 19,5 cm. Vergelijk de maat daarom bij voorkeur met een armband die comfortabel past.

After delivery, the ring will not be resized in the workshop. If necessary, you can have it resized locally at a jeweler of your choice.
Can every ring be resized?
Most gold rings can be resized. Each ring is inspected before being made.
If a size change is not technically justified, I will contact you in advance.
How long is the delivery time with a change?
