Deze vintage ring van Lapponia uit 1988 heeft smalle groeven die over de bovenzijde uit waaieren en verdelen het ontwerp in verschillende verhoogde en lager gelegen vlakken. Hierdoor vangt de ring het licht telkens anders wanneer hij wordt gedragen.
De voorzijde meet circa 2,8 bij 1,4 cm en loopt via brede schouders geleidelijk over in de ringband. Hoewel de ring duidelijk aanwezig is, blijft het ontwerp door zijn relatief lage vorm prettig draagbaar.
De ring is uitgevoerd in sterling zilver en draagt verschillende Finse keurmerken. Aanwezig zijn onder meer het zilvergehalte 925, de Finse nationale controlekeur, het firmakeur van Lapponia, het opschrift LAPPONIA en de datumstempel L8, die overeenkomt met 1988.
De modelnaam en ontwerper konden vooralsnog niet met zekerheid worden vastgesteld. Daarom wordt de ring niet aan een specifieke ontwerper toegeschreven.
De ring verkeert in een goede gedragen vintage staat. Vooral aan de bovenzijde is de oorspronkelijke mattering door het dragen gedeeltelijk gladder geworden. Daarnaast zijn fijne krasjes en gebruikssporen zichtbaar, passend bij een ring uit 1988. De foto’s geven de huidige staat duidelijk
