These silver Fylgia stud earrings were designed by Björn Weckström for the Finnish company Lapponia. Despite their modest size, they feature the recognizable sculptural forms for which Weckström is known. The earrings are mirror images of each other and combine smooth, shiny lines with a finely structured silver surface.
The name Fylgia comes from Norse mythology. A fylgja was a protective spirit who accompanied someone throughout their life. Usually she remained hidden, but sometimes she appeared in dreams.
The design belongs to Weckström's well-known Space Silver collection and is still in production. Today it is offered by Kalevala, under which Lapponia's designs have been brought. The small, sculptural shape makes these stud earrings easy to wear daily.
This vintage pair is in very good condition and shows only minor signs of wear. The original Lapponia earring backs are present and marked with Lapponia and 925. The posts bear a Dutch assay mark for sterling silver.

Can I have the ring adjusted after delivery?
To avoid back and forth shipments, size changes are made before shipment.
After delivery, the ring will not be resized in the workshop. If necessary, you can have it resized locally at a jeweler of your choice.
Can every ring be resized?
Most gold rings can be resized. Each ring is inspected before being made.
If a size change is not technically justified, I will contact you in advance.
How long is the delivery time with a change?
