Vintage pendant in 8 carat yellow gold with a purple Spinel (Synthetic)
The Spinel is in an open setting for maximum light and is securely attached with 4 prongs .
The setting of the pendant is really nicely made with a wider piece that sits along the stone and the 4 prongs. Around the stone is a rounded square which makes the stone stand out even more!
The pendant is about 60 years old, but as far as I'm concerned it is timeless !
The Spinel is of synthetic origin.
