De Ming-ring werd ontworpen door Björn Weckström voor het Finse sieradenhuis Lapponia. De ringband loopt breed uit naar een asymmetrische bovenkant, waarover een langgerekte, verhoogde vorm met een smalle groef loopt. Het reliëf doet denken aan een kleine golf, een rotsrand of ribbels die door water in een oppervlak zijn achtergelaten.
De fijne, matte structuur loopt vanaf de bovenkant door tot ongeveer halverwege de ringband. Door de verschillende hoogtes en de gladdere randen krijgt het zilver meer diepte wanneer er licht op valt.
De ring is uitgevoerd in sterling zilver en draagt de Finse datumstempel X8, die overeenkomt met 1999. Daarnaast is de ring gekeurd met 925, het Finse nationale controlekeurmerk, het firmakeur van Lapponia en de volledige naam LAPPONIA.
De Ming-ring verkeert in een zeer goede vintage staat. De mattering en structuur zijn aan de bovenkant bijzonder mooi bewaard gebleven. Aan de onderzijde van de ringband zijn gebruikssporen en kleine putjes zichtbaar. Dat is het deel dat tijdens het dragen nu eenmaal het meeste te verduren krijgt.

To avoid back and forth shipments, size changes are made before shipment.
After delivery, the ring will not be resized in the workshop. If necessary, you can have it resized locally at a jeweler of your choice.
Can every ring be resized?
Most gold rings can be resized. Each ring is inspected before being made.
If a size change is not technically justified, I will contact you in advance.
