A playful modernist pendant by the Finnish silver house Kupittaan Kulta.
At the top is a wide, open silver circle through which the chain passes directly. Two openings placed opposite each other form the pendant loop. A long, narrow silver rod is attached to the bottom of the circle and can move freely.
The rod ends in an open setting with a green aventurine sphere. The stone is held securely between the silver parts but can rotate freely within the setting. This gives the sleek geometric design a playful, kinetic element, and it is naturally particularly tempting to play with.
The pendant is hallmarked with the anvil of Kupittaan Kulta, the 925S fineness mark and FINLAND. The design fits stylistically within Finnish modernism of the 1960s and 1970s.
The pendant is offered with a polished gourmet link chain in sterling silver. Both the pendant and the chain are in excellent vintage condition, with little to no visible signs of wear.
