What a beautiful design by Zoltan Popovits for the Finnish brand Lapponia .
Zoltan Popovits has been part of the Lapponia design team since the mid-1970s.

The ring has the very recognizable matte finish of Lapponia and an abstract look. The ring is quite large and measures over 3cm!

Each ring is given a name, this ring is called "Ibis" named after the bird of the same name. This ring dates from 1997 .

The ring is made of first grade silver (925) and fully hallmarked with Finnish hallmarks and the year letter U8 for 1997.

The size of the ring is 18mm / 57. Because the ring is so elongated, you may need a larger size than you usually wear.

FAQ Re-Sizing Service

How do I know my ring size?

View the explanation about ring sizes here .

What if I am unsure about my size or the ring?

Are you unsure about the right size or would you like to view the ring in real life first?
Order the ring without resizing. This way, you can try it on without worry, and returns are still possible according to the terms and conditions.

Can I have the ring adjusted after delivery?

To avoid back and forth shipments, size changes are made before shipment.
After delivery, the ring will not be resized in the workshop. If necessary, you can have it resized locally at a jeweler of your choice.

Can every ring be resized?

Most gold rings can be resized. Each ring is inspected before being made.
If a size change is not technically justified, I will contact you in advance.

How long is the delivery time with a change?

Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for processing.

Will you take care of the next chapter?

At Feniks, all jewelry has been part of the life of at least 1 other person.
The piece of jewelry was worn , cherished and every trace has its own story .

A story that will not reveal the jewel.

For this special reason I do not completely erase the traces of the past . The jewelry has been checked and polished but some still bear the marks of the previous owner.

The stories of the past remain a mystery. Will you create the next chapter?
