These vintage Navajo/Diné earrings by Richard Begay are richly finished with almost everything that makes this type of jewelry so recognizable. Each earring features a bright blue cabochon turquoise, surrounded by a silver leaf, a flower, twisted wirework, and small silver beads. The darkened background makes all the details stand out even more.
Hanging from the fixed part are two silver feathers each. These move smoothly while wearing and give the earrings their playful, elongated shape.
The earrings close with posts and are in very good vintage condition, with little visible signs of wear. The silver settings are not original, but fit well and close properly. On the back, both earrings are marked with ‘RB’ and ‘STERLING’.
