A very beautiful French ring in the Art Deco style.
The ring has an Amethyst in emerald cut with 2 rows of marcasites around it. The shoulders to the ring band also have marcasites.
A beautiful model in the Art Deco style, although I think it was made in the 1940s and 1950s .
The Amethyst is in a closed setting case but is open at the bottom to allow some light in.
The ring bears the boar's head stamp used from 1838-1962 and also a maker's stamp.
The ring size is 17.4 mm / 55.
Always carefully packaged and delivered in a jewelry box.
