The Raspail necklace was designed in the 1970s by Finnish jewellery designer Matti J. Hyvärinen for Sirokoru. The substantial, three-dimensional pendant has a distinctly modernist form with clear brutalist influences.
The pendant is constructed from various angular and curved silver planes that rise from the center. Matte textures are alternated with smoothly polished sections, making the shape appear different from every angle. With a thickness of approximately 1.5 cm, the design also has considerable volume.
On either side, the pendant is directly connected to a matching silver bar chain. The square links follow the same sleek lines, making the pendant and chain a cohesive unit. The necklace closes with a lobster clasp.
The back of the pendant is signed Matti J. Hyvärinen and marked with the maker's mark MJH and 925. The chain and clasp also bear the 925 silver hallmark.
The necklace is in excellent vintage condition and appears to have been hardly or never worn. Some light spots are visible in the existing lacquer layer in places. This is inherent to the finish and not wear on the silver.

After delivery, the ring will not be resized in the workshop. If necessary, you can have it resized locally at a jeweler of your choice.

Most gold rings can be resized. Each ring is inspected before being made.
If a size change is not technically justified, I will contact you in advance.
