A lady portrait of more than 100 years old! This lady is a portrait made around 1920 in the typical wavy lines of the Art Nouveau movement.
These pendants and portraits are often newly reproduced, but this one is really from the early 1900s . This can be seen in the way this pendant is made.
The pendant is made at the front using the repoussé technique . With this technique, the silver is shaped by digging it up at the back. Afterwards, a full silver plate is soldered against it, making the pendant actually hollow.
The pendant is hallmarked but the hallmark is somewhat worn. Because of this I cannot determine the grade and origin, but the pendant is definitely made of silver .
The pendant measures 3cm wide and 3.5cm long including the pendant eyelet.
The pendant comes with a silver chain, although it will probably be a different one than in the photo.
