This bracelet is no lightweight... It is made of 800/1000 silver and weighs a hefty 53 grams. Despite its substantial weight, the design fits neatly and quite compactly around the wrist.
The wide top features a lowered central panel, flanked by two triangular surfaces with green enamel. Clean indentations are also repeated on the sides. The bracelet narrows towards the bottom, beautifully balancing the heavy design and preventing it from looking clunky.
The transparent enamel beautifully catches the light and forms a striking contrast with the cool silver. Everything about this bracelet is geometric... Simply a remarkably strong design.
The bracelet is signed with SiK. Unfortunately, the maker behind this signature could not be identified. The French crab hallmark confirms that the silver has a fineness of at least 800/1000. Based on the style and hallmark, the bracelet presumably dates from the 1960s–1970s.
The enamel is in excellent condition. However, there are clear signs of wear visible on the silver, including superficial scratches, small dents, and signs of use along the edges. These are clearly visible in the photos and are consistent with the age of the bracelet.
