The Labyrinth necklace was designed by Björn Weckström for the Finnish jewelry house Lapponia. This is the slightly longer version of the design, measuring approximately 41 centimeters. As a result, the necklace sits somewhat looser around the neck than the 38-centimeter short version, while still beautifully following the line of the neck.
The design consists of narrow, slightly curved silver links with a fine matte texture. Small, organically shaped connectors hold the links together and create a subtle contrast with the understated finish of the silver.
The lobster clasp is fully integrated into the design. It features the same organic shape as the connecting links and is therefore barely noticeable when the necklace is worn.
The necklace is made of sterling silver and is hallmarked with Lapponia's three-pronged maker's mark, the 925 purity mark, the Finnish B9 date stamp for 2003, and the full name LAPPONIA.
This Labyrinth is in excellent vintage condition and has barely been worn. The matte texture and smoother details have been particularly well preserved. The necklace looks almost like new.
