This pendant depicts a floral motif and is a beautiful work by Alex Meijer in Schoonhoven (Netherlands).
The pendant is quite large and is made using the repoussé technique. This technique involves shaping the silver by digging it up at the back.
This pendant was made in the 1940s in the Art Nouveau Revival style.
This pendant is hallmarked with the old Dutch sword without hallmark , for fineness 835, dating from before 1953.
The pendant is also hallmarked with the maker's stamp of AxM for Alex Meijer. This hallmark was used during the period 1928 - 1963 .
This pendant comes with a cut gourmet chain of 42 cm long and 1.7 mm wide.
