Vintage pendant in yellow gold with an opal.
The opal has a triangular shape with rounded corners and is set in a closed bezel setting. An open wire pattern runs around the stone, giving the pendant an airy texture.
The pendant eye is hidden on the back. This makes the pendant appear as if it were a single piece, with no visible moving parts.
The opal shows strong color flashes of blue, green, red and orange.
This is an opal doublet or triplet. A thin layer of genuine opal is combined with a protective transparent top layer, usually made of glass or resin, which protects the stone from damage. A triplet also has a protective bottom layer.
Because the back of the setting is closed, it cannot be determined with certainty whether this is a doublet or a triplet.
At the highest point of the protective layer above the opal, slight signs of wear are visible. These are barely noticeable when worn.
The design and construction point to the period 1960 to 1970.

To avoid back and forth shipments, size changes are made before shipment.
After delivery, the ring will not be resized in the workshop. If necessary, you can have it resized locally at a jeweler of your choice.
Can every ring be resized?
Most gold rings can be resized. Each ring is inspected before being made.
If a size change is not technically justified, I will contact you in advance.
How long is the delivery time with a change?
