Vintage Russian niello flower bracelet in second grade gilded silver.
The bracelet has a graceful inlaid floral motif in black and silver. The edges and the inside of the bracelet are gold plated and this gives a very nice effect!
At the bottom the bracelet has an opening to put it diagonally around your wrist. The current inside size is 5.8cm * 5.3cm , but the bracelet can still be enlarged or reduced by folding very carefully .
The bracelet is widest at the top with 2cm and tapers off to become slightly wider at the bottom. At its narrowest point the bracelet is 5.5mm wide.
Niello is a technique to blacken certain parts by an alloy of silver, copper, lead and sulphur . This alloy is made by the goldsmith himself, so the colour can vary from grey to pitch black.
The part of the object that the goldsmith wants to make black must first be removed by engraving and carving away the silver . Afterwards, the alloy is applied and baked in the oven like enamel. This melts the alloy and forms 1 whole with the silver .
A fairly labor-intensive way to decorate a piece of jewelry.

Order the ring without resizing. This way, you can try it on without worry, and returns are still possible according to the terms and conditions.
Can I have the ring adjusted after delivery?
To avoid back and forth shipments, size changes are made before shipment.
After delivery, the ring will not be resized in the workshop. If necessary, you can have it resized locally at a jeweler of your choice.
Can every ring be resized?
Most gold rings can be resized. Each ring is inspected before being made.
If a size change is not technically justified, I will contact you in advance.
How long is the delivery time with a change?
Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for processing.
