This large Water Lily ring was designed by Swedish designer Theresia Hvorslev for silver manufacturer MEMA.
The organic top consists of three wavy water lily leaves that appear to move around a recessed centre. Hvorslev found her inspiration while sailing on Lake Vänern, where the wind made the water lily leaves dance across the water. She sought to capture that movement in silver.
The surface is rich in texture, with smooth edges and dark depressions that give the relief extra depth. Part of the natural patina has therefore been deliberately preserved.
With a top measuring 2.9 × 2.4 cm, this ring is one of the larger versions of the Water Lily design. It makes a striking statement on the hand and rises approximately 1.1 cm above the finger. The open ring band makes the size adjustable.
The ring is extensively hallmarked with MEMA, the city mark of Lidköping, the Swedish national control mark with three crowns, 925, Sweden, the Theresia signature, and the date code B10 for 1976.

After delivery, the ring will not be resized in the workshop. If necessary, you can have it resized locally at a jeweler of your choice.

Most gold rings can be resized. Each ring is inspected before being made.
