This Claddagh pendant is made of 9 carat gold and hallmarked in Birmingham in 1993 .
The design features the well-known Irish Claddagh symbol: two hands holding a heart with a crown above it .
The Claddagh motif traditionally represents friendship (the hands), love (the heart) and fidelity (the crown) .
Below the heart hangs an oval cabochon , likely a garnet, set in an open prong setting, allowing the stone to be seen from beneath the pendant. This gives the pendant more volume than its dimensions might suggest. As a result, the piece doesn't lie flat against the skin but has a distinctly three-dimensional shape.
Its compact size makes it an easy-to-carry pendant for everyday use.

To avoid back and forth shipments, size changes are made before shipment.
After delivery, the ring will not be resized in the workshop. If necessary, you can have it resized locally at a jeweler of your choice.
Can every ring be resized?
Most gold rings can be resized. Each ring is inspected before being made.
If a size change is not technically justified, I will contact you in advance.
How long is the delivery time with a change?
Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for processing.
