This ring was made in the 1970s in the Brutalist style.
This style is mainly characterized by whimsical shapes and textures that are used interchangeably.
Kind of the definition of this ring.
It may not sound very stylish, but if done well it is beautiful and has a lot of character , just like this ring.

The top of the ring is rectangular with a jagged texture above which are created compartments.
