This silver pendant is the Pendant of the Year 1998 from the Heritage line by Georg Jensen .
Starting in the 1990s, Georg Jensen annually released a special piece of jewelry under that name. This example, therefore, belongs to 1998 , as is literally confirmed by the year in the hallmark.
The pendant has a compact, rounded shape and measures 2.4 × 2 cm . It is crafted from sterling silver and hangs from its original matching chain . The chain is not individually marked Georg Jensen, which is typical for this type of set, but it is included with this pendant.
Both the pendant and chain have a dark, lightly oxidized finish . This is not dirt or wear, but a deliberate finish that adds depth to the relief and shapes.
