The Hydra necklace, designed by Björn Weckström for Lapponia .
The chain consists of the very recognizable Lapponia bars from which the lower pendant hangs.
This pendant has the matte finish along with some shiny bits.
This pendant reminds me a bit of water , but according to the website of Kalevala (the current production house) it has something to do with Greek mythology .
There the Hydra would be a snake with 9 heads that had to be killed.
Well, I really don't see that..

The chain itself is also hallmarked on the eye with the above hallmarks but with date stamp M8, one year earlier 1989.
The pendant is attached to the chain and cannot be removed. The pendant measures 2.2cm wide and 2.7cm long.
The necklace has a hook closure and measures 42cm long.

After delivery, the ring will not be resized in the workshop. If necessary, you can have it resized locally at a jeweler of your choice.
Can every ring be resized?
Most gold rings can be resized. Each ring is inspected before being made.
If a size change is not technically justified, I will contact you in advance.
How long is the delivery time with a change?
Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for processing.
Will you take care of the next chapter?
At Feniks, all jewelry has been part of the life of at least 1 other person.
The piece of jewelry was worn , cherished and every trace has its own story .
A story that will not reveal the jewel.
For this special reason I do not completely erase the traces of the past . The jewelry has been checked and polished but some still bear the marks of the previous owner.
