The Spica bracelet was designed by Björn Weckström for the Finnish jewelry house Lapponia. The bracelet is composed of elongated, organically shaped links with narrow ends and raised, pointed accents. Each link is slightly curved, allowing the bracelet to beautifully follow the contour of the wrist.
The connections between the links are also part of the design. The narrow ends are attached to the adjacent links with small T-shaped pin connections. This keeps the construction flexible while largely concealing the connections from view.
The spring closure is fully integrated into one of the links. Pressing the designated section opens the bracelet. When closed, the closure blends almost invisibly into the design.
The bracelet is made of sterling silver and bears the full set of Lapponia hallmarks. The Finnish date stamp N8 corresponds to 1990. In addition, it features the 925 fineness stamp, the Finnish national control mark, the Lapponia maker's mark, and the full name LAPPONIA.
The Spica bracelet is in very good vintage condition. Only slight signs of wear are visible, and the original surface finish has been exceptionally well preserved.

After delivery, the ring will not be resized in the workshop. If necessary, you can have it resized locally at a jeweler of your choice.
